Chelsea Capper

Chelsea started dancing at a young age with the Jane Stanley School of Dance. She trained in RAD Classical Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern Expressive, Musical Theatre and Tap.

She participated in Master classes with Kim Traynor, Jane Beckett, Tanya Pearson, Vicky Attard and many more. 

Showcasing her talent for dance, Chelsea has won and placed in many competitions in Ballet and Contemporary, and danced in many showcases such as Manly Arts Festival, Australian Dance Awards, corporate shows and local productions.

Chelsea started teaching early, inspiring young students with her love and passion for choreography. She established dance classes at Bathurst Public School, where they now hold dance groups from Kindergarten to Year 6. Under Chelsea's guidance, Stage 3 have performed in the School Spectacular for the past four years.

Contemporary choreography remains very close to Chelsea's heart, and this is proven through the many choreography awards she has won over the years, along with the students that continue to benefit from her advanced skills.

As the new Principal at Burns Bay Dance Studios, Chelsea is very keen to build the school into a successful venue for developing the performance skills of this generation of dancers.


Melissa Ayers

Melissa started dancing early in her life with the Jane Stanley School of Dance in Dee Why, before moving to the United States in 2001. There she continued her training in Ballet, Lyrical, Modern/Contemporary, Jazz and Tap while competing at dance competitions around the north-east United States and performing in various dance company showcases and events in venues such as Disney World, Disney Land and Off-Broadway in NYC. Most recently, while studying at ACPE, Melissa performed with the ACPE Dance Company and worked with local choreographers including Jess Taylor, John Bancan, Elizabeth Ryan and Tanya Voges. 

Melissa recently earned a Bachelor of Dance Education with Outstanding Academic Achievement from the Australian College of Physical Education. She is a qualified teacher with the NSW DEC specialising in Dance and PDHPE. Melissa is also certified in First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Care.

Miss Mel loves sharing her knowledge and experience with the beautiful Burns Bay dancers, helping them to develop their dance technique, confidence and love of dance!


Jasmine Baltzer

Jasmin started dancing at the young age of 3 at Hervey Bay dance school in QLD. Being trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, Contemporary, Tap and Musical Theatre. After graduating high school with a Cert 3 in Dance and Cert 4 in Music, she moved to Sydney to complete a year of fulltime training at Village Nation where she furthered her studies and received a Cert 4 in Dance. 

Jasmin has showcased her talent in many ways such as having a lead ballet role in a short film, back up dancer for Johnny Ruffo for Sydney gig, Jeans for Genes Denim Dinner back up Dancer, choreographer for a short film for Sydney film festival and a dancer for a film company commercial.

Jasmin started teaching at the age of 14 and it continues to bring her endless joy when inspiring younger dancers with the same passion and love for dance. Jasmin has recently just completed her training in acrobatics teaching and is excited to advance the Burns Bay students into excellent young performers.
